The Latest M.2 Compact Form Factor
The M.2 compact form factor has become the hot trend with its compact dimensions and design to fit into small-footprint embedded systems for industrial applications. Conforming to standard M.2 (2260 or 2280) specifications, the CN331-H is the ideal solution for the integration in medical imaging devices, education or industrial computers.
Compatible with HDMI 1.4 standards, the CN331-H features loss-less video data throughput with single channel 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60fps and is capable of either capturing or recording at 1920 x 1080 30fps.
Hardware H.264 Compression with Low Power Consumption
The built-in H.264 HW encoder can compress raw data with a low rate of CPU usage but maintain the video quality. In addition, the CN331-H can also store raw data directly without compression. Moreover, the compression of the hardware allows you to preview the captured video in real-time.
With its hardware-based video engine, the CN331-H reduces CPU or GPU workload by performing tasks, and the consumption of computing resources in order to focus on other important applications at hand. The CN331-H offers the advantage of low power consumption up to 1 Watt only.
Flexible HDMI Connector
In addition to the compact form factor M.2 dimensions (2260 or 2280), CN331-H also features a flexible HDMI connector with a 90 degree (right-angle) or 180 degree (horizontal) connection angle. It is designed to fit into small-footprint embedded systems with M.2 interface and aims to benefit the system’s configuration to suit various vertical applications.
On-Board Hardware Video Processing Technology
AVerMedia hardware-based video engine technology implements practical video processing functions, such as de-interlacing for enhanced image clarity, color space conversion for more true-to-life video color and resolution scaling to lessen CPU intensive workloads.
